After the first couple of chemotherapy session, StarGirl really became stressed out and agitated. I'd heard of Ewan the dream sheep when they first came out, but as she slept so well I never needed to buy one.
As the treatment went on though I knew I needed to try something to calm her down.
I follow the inventor of Ewan on Twitter and asked her questions about him, asking her if he would help StarGirl as she's older than the target age of Ewan. Lynda was so amazingly lovely, and offered to send Stargirl an Ewan to help her get better!!
He arrived the next morning and he has been such a lifesaver! From the first night she was calmer, she carries him around the house (we call him SheepySheep), he goes to sleep next to her, and he calms her in hospital.
All the nurses and doctors ask about him when we're in. Our favourites are the music leg and the baby heartbeat one!!
